Parallels 8 & Ubuntu 12.10 tools install issue

Running a Ubuntu 12.10 Server on an OSX box and wanted to install the tools...phew! Pretty easy after a lot of research and digging:

1. On the VM Menu choose "Install Tools"
2. On the Ubuntu box you need to mount the cdrom drive:

mount /dev/cdrom /media/$USER$ (you can replace this with whatever your username it)

3. Goto /media/$USER$; run ./install
4. Follow the prompts
5. Unmount when finished

Thats it a nice shiny install of Parallels Tools for linux

Forget all other posts about disabling 3D acceleration etc...

PS. You may have to download and manually mount the tools.iso from the Parallels trial version - let me know in comments if you are struggling and will add to the guide.
